Assignment Description

• Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) is the technical lead for specific equipment packages in large projects. 
• They ensure that design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery of equipment (like compressors, pumps, turbines, pressure vessels, or cranes) meet project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations

• Prepare and perform bid clarification meeting (BCM) and kick off meeting if necessary.
• Create package follow up together with package buyer and MC engineer.
• Create and follow up package distribution matrix for supplier documentation and send the matrix to Document Control.
• Take responsibility forfollow-up work for the procurement package.
• Follow up and make sure Final Documentation for the scope of work is delivered at agreed date.
• Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed according to relevant instructions / procedures and in accordance with the contract. 

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
• Required Work Experience:
• Long experience, 7 to 12 years, within offshore related projects
• Required Qualifications: 
• High knowledge of rotating equipent, pumps and compressors, chemical injection skids, other multidiscipline packaged deliveries.
• Good knowlegde of Static equipment
• Good knowledge of standards
• Required Certificates: 
• Offshore certificate and medical certificate
