New Software department in Stavanger focused on Europe

The department will serve as a central hub for sales, tender processes, and implementation targeting customers in Europe outside Norway. The goal is to gather and further develop expertise to strengthen Omega 365’s international position.

“The establishment of a dedicated department in Stavanger with a clear focus on Europe is an important strategic move for us,” says General Manger Svein Tore Haraldseid. “We see significant opportunities in the European market, and with Simen in the lead, we have great confidence in building a robust and forward-looking unit. It is inspiring to see the strong commitment and collaboration that already characterize the initiative.”

The choice of Stavanger as a location is based on the city’s existing Omega environment, proximity to the headquarters, and good connections to the rest of Europe. The establishment will contribute to better coordination and a sharper focus on business development in the region.

The department will be responsible for professional product demonstrations, structured implementation, and close customer dialogue. The plan is to build a sustainable unit with a “best practice” approach that ensures high-quality deliveries.

“The team now consists of seven employees from Ølensvåg and five in Stavanger – a combination of internal transfers and new hires,” says Simen Bjørkedal Jensen. “The group has diverse expertise across products and disciplines. We've seen the advantage of specialized focus for sales and implementations, and we are actively working to establish professional groups across departments to strengthen knowledge sharing.”

With an engaged team and clear leadership, the new department in Stavanger marks an important step in Omega 365’s international growth strategy. The foundation is set to strengthen the company’s presence and delivery capacity in the European market.
