A shared Christmas gift to the Norwegian Refugee Council
As a shared Christmas gift from all Omega 365 team members, Omega 365 will continue its support for the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in 2026. This reflects a focus on meaningful contributions, prioritizing long-term humanitarian support over traditional gift-giving.

Omega 365 has supported NRC through structured, long-term contributions since 2022, with total donations of NOK 1.6 million. In 2025, the company’s Christmas gift was provided through monthly donations of NOK 50,000, totalling NOK 600,000 over the year. The contribution model will continue in 2026, giving NRC predictable funding that supports long-term planning and a sustained presence in areas where needs persist.
The collaboration began in response to the war in Ukraine, where Omega 365 committed NOK 1 million over two years to NRC’s emergency response. While the situation in Ukraine remains ongoing, humanitarian needs continue to grow globally, including in regions that receive less public attention.
NRC operates in crisis-affected areas across Ukraine, the Middle East, and Africa, providing emergency shelter, clean water, education, legal assistance, and protection to displaced families. More than 90 percent of NRC’s funding goes directly to field operations.
“This donation reflects the generosity of our employees and our shared belief in supporting people in need. We are proud to continue supporting the Norwegian Refugee Council and the vital work they do,” says Karina Hovden Stava, Head of Global HSEQ at Omega 365.
In a message shared with Omega 365 this year, NRC highlighted how predictable, long-term support strengthens their ability to respond effectively.
“Private sector support has been vital to our emergency response. Predictable, long-term contributions strengthen our ability to respond to urgent needs and remain present where people need support the most,” says Alix Journoud, Palestine Country Director, Norwegian Refugee Council.
