A weekend in Chamonix with Advantage
As part of the Advantage program, a group from Omega 365 recently spent a weekend in Chamonix, surrounded by the French Alps and the impressive Mont Blanc. The town, located 1,030 meters above sea level, combines small-town charm with mountain landscapes, making it the perfect base for a variety of activities.

The group explored Chamonix in many ways – from tasting local specialties on a guided food tour, to enjoying a picnic in the mountains, and riding electric mountain bikes through the valley. Highlights also included a cable car ride up to Aiguille du Midi at 3,842 meters and a visit to the Mer de Glace glacier, complete with a scenic train ride, an ice cave, and fascinating stories about the glacier’s history.
Participants highlighted the great atmosphere, the well-planned activities, and the flexibility that allowed everyone to set their own pace. The hotel, meals, and guides were also mentioned as key elements that made the weekend special. Many described it as a trip they would happily make again.
Through the Advantage program, participants got to see how traveling to new places can bring together adventure, culture, and community in a way that strengthens the workplace.
