Vienna Teambuilding

Come August 2009, the Omega team will be waltzing into Austria's charming capital – Vienna. The sounds of Mozart, the golden gleam of Klimt's artworks, and the irresistible flavour of hot apple strudel await you in this capital of culture.

The departure for Vienna is getting closer, and the schedule is nearing completion. The plane tickets are sent out to participants well ahead of time, and you can now take a closer look at the eventful teambuilding trip that we have planned:

Schedule

Friday, August 28

• 16.20 - The last travel group arrive in Vienna and are transported to the hotel
• 19.00 - Meeting
• 20.00 - The bus picks us up at the hotel for dinner
• 20.30 - Three-course dinner including drinks at the Restaurant Piaristenkeller
• 23.30 - Bus transport back to the hotel or the city

Saturday, August 29

• 09.00 - We are picked up at the hotel for a half-day sightseeing of Vienna's greatest attractions
• 12.00 - Lunch at the Restaurant Donauturm, a rotating restaurant with a panoramic view of the city
• 13.30 - Bus transport back to the hotel or the city
• 18.00 - The bus picks us up at the hotel for dinner
• 18.30 - Three-course dinner at the Café Restaurant Residenz at the Schönbrunn Palace
• 20.30 - Concert at the Schönbrunn palace featuring music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss
• 22.20 - Bus transport back to the hotel or the city

Sunday, August 30

• 10.00 - The participants of the Fiaker excursion activity are picked up at the hotel
• 10.00 - The participants of the Schönbrunn palace tour activity are picked up at the hotel
• 12.15 - River cruise at the Donau including three-course meal
• 14.30 - The group departing Vienna at 17.35 are transported directly from the river cruise to the airport
• 17.20 - The group departing Vienna at 19.50 are transported from the hotel to the airport

Hotel Intercity

A four-star hotel on a lively shopping street, close to transport connections and just a 10 minute metro ride from the many sights of “Old Vienna”. The hotel has 172 rooms, all with own bathroom, telephone, minibar and TV. The hotel also has a restaurant and bistro. Read more about the hotel.

• 06.00 - Departure from Bergen
• 06.45 - Departure from Stavanger
• 07.05 - Departure from Oslo
• 10.00 - Departure from Haugesund

There are also separate departures from Trondheim, Ålesund, Molde, Aalborg and a later Bergen departure.
