Friday
Our guide, Isabelle, will meet us at 09:00. We will be given our bikes,
maps and helmets before we head out on our first cycling trip.
- The first 4-5 kilometers of our cycling day is mainly uphill towards the city of Orient
- Further on, we cycle through hairpin turns, before the road flattens. The rest of the route is mostly downhill, flat roads or an easy, uphill ride
- We cycle through the city Buyola, before we stop for lunch
- We then head for st. Maria, before cycling back to Alaro
Approx. 36.7 km
Saturday
Today we will explore Mallorca's backroads, by winding our way through many of the island's vineyards
- From Alaro, we cycle east towards Inca on small country roads lined with olive groves
- Inca is the second largest city in Mallorca and we will cycle mainly outside the city center, sticking to the old roads
- Along the vineyards, we cycle south towards Sencelles
- We then cycle on 10 kilometers of flat road to Binissalem, an old Arabic city. We stop for lunch after passing the city center
- After lunch, we head back to Alaro
Approx. 42 km
