Røros Christmas Teambuilding

Join us for a joyous weekend at the Røros Christmas markets. 

Røros will fill you with Christmas spirit with decorated streets ready for the town’s annual Christmas markets. The markets are regarded as some of the best in the country and offer a wide selection of arts and crafts, Christmas foods, and a variety of yuletide activities. Join us for a great weekend, wrapped in dazzling Christmas lights, and covered by a fresh blanket of white snow.  

We will be staying at Vertshuset Røros.

1. Mining town wandering

The charming little town consisting mostly of small wood houses was founded in 1646, and has since been influenced by mining and farming activities. The town is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List and was added as early as 1980. Today, the town offers a vibrant art and craftsmanship community, niche shops, and renowned eateries serving local, fresh dishes in line with the season. 

The sightseeing tour gives you a fundamental introduction to how the old mining community has grown into what it is today. The Røros church, historical backyards/alleys that show the unique farming system of the town, and preserved houses are among the top picks for the tour. 

2. Beer tasting 

A tour around the Røros Bryggeri, the local brewing company, where knowledgeable beer experts will tell us about Røros' beer history. We will have the opportunity to taste 3 types of local beer, together with "meskbrød" (bread), "Spell-Ola" sausage (cured meat sausage) and Røros butter.  

Activities for all participants 

Sleigh Rides

We will go on an unforgettable sleigh ride through the streets of Røros. This is a relaxing way to experience Røros' historic treasures.

Kverneng Farm

We will split into 4 teams and do different activities; axe throwing, air rifle, lassoing and archery. Afterwards there will be lunch in a lavvo with awards for the best team.
