Outings
Friday
Lunch at Cavtat
On the way from the airport on Friday afternoon we will make a stop in the small village of Cavtat, approximately a five-minute drive from the airport. Here, we will be served lunch at the elegant Restaurant Leut, right next to Cavtat’s sea port.
Guided tour of the city walls
This is a "must" for all visitors to Dubrovnik. The two-kilometer long and 25-meter high city walls were built between the 13th and 16th century. From the walls, you will get an amazing view of both the old city and the ocean.
We gather for the tour at 17:30 on Friday afternoon, and will walk directly from the tour to dinner afterwards.
Saturday
Boat trip to the Elafiti Islands
There are still some residents at three of the thirteen Elafiti Islands. We will visit the Kolocap and Lopus Islands.
We set sail on the "pirate ship Tirena" on Saturday, heading for the Elafiti Islands, approximately 30 minutes from Dubrovnik. We will visit two of the thirteen islands in the archipelago; Kolocep and Lopud. These are two of the largest of the Elafiti islands where there are still residents. Both Kolep and Lopud are car-free islands attracting visitors with their calm environment and white beaches. These are very popular tourist destinations for foreign tourists and local residents.
We will eat lunch in Kolocep, before spending the rest of the day on the neighboring island of Lopud, which is known for its beautiful beaches. On Lopud, you can try out island beach life on the sea-port side, or try the large beach on the opposite side of the island.
Sunday
Lunch in Konavle
On the way from the hotel to the airport on Sunday afternoon, we will visit the small village and popular destination of Konavle, where we will be served lunch at Restaurant Konavoski Dvori. We will be served traditional Croatioan dishes from the Konavle area before we depart for the airport and our flight home.
